Pakistan Rugby Union holds its 7th AGM

2007 saw the Pakistan Rugby Union 'PRU' gain membership of  both the Pakistan Olympic Association and the Pakistan Sports Board as the representative body for the Sport in the Country.

The Annual General Body Meeting of the PRU held on 19 jan 2008 this was attended by representatives from : 

-Islamabad Rugby Association
-Punjab Rugby Association
-Sind Rugby Association
-Balochistan Rugby Association
-NWFP Rugby Association
-Pakistan ARMY
-Pakistan Police
-Pakistan Referee's Society
-WAPDA
-Pakistan Railways ( Observer Status )

A  full year of rugby tournaments were announced including a 12 team 15's a side tournament featuring the Top teams of Pakistan playing for the title of the National champions
